My own version, made with blood, sweat and tears, and some major love! Seriously, we made these Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pies for years at the bakery. Way too good and very rich. Just what you want for tomorrow's race with a tall icy Mint Julep!

I lived in Louisville for a time but never got into the horse racing thing. But Chocolate Pecan Pie, it is a beautiful thing.
Saw you are mentioning Memorial Day recipes. Blueberry fruit season is coming up.
