101 Easy Peasy Cookie Recipes ~ Another Copy?
I have another brand new copy of 101 Easy Peasy Cookie Recipes to give away this time. If you remember the last Easy Peasy give-away I had way back in May, you'll see that the authors, Lucinda & Heather Wallace, gave me two books to send out to my readers. Well, one of the books came back as undeliverable to an overseas address. It's a long story, but the good news is, we're having another cookbook give-away!
Here are the Rules:
- Leave a comment on this post. Anything will do. What would you like me to focus more on? Is there something you like about my blog? You know, something like that. Lie to me if you have to!
- Only one comment per address. Duplicates will be deleted.
- US & Canadian entries only. No exceptions.
I'll pick a winner at midnight, EST next Tuesday, September 30th, 2008 using the random generator. The winner will be announced next Wednesday.
In the meantime, read my review and personal interview I had with the authors, Lucinda & Heather Wallace, and check out some of their cookie pictures. It'll get you all revved up for a new cookie cookbook in your bookcase!
I would love to see some easy after work crock pot recipes to get me through the fall and winter.
I love reading your blog and look forward to each new post.

I agree with Tracy. I need some GOOD crockpot recipes, too.
Posted by: Joy | September 23, 2008 at 04:29 PM
I loved your interview and her comment about breaking a few eggs before getting it right is so true!! Her favorite cookie that is like an orangesicle is interesting as well...
In honor of winter and comfort food I would love to see some Soups and chili recipes they would be great.
I hope I win at Sept 30th is my Birthday!!
Posted by: Cathy - wheresmydamnanswer | September 23, 2008 at 04:48 PM
Oh yeah, definitely some crock pot recipes! I'm drawing a blank when I think about winter cooking and need things that will be ready when I stumble home through the snow from work.

I am completely unoriginal, but I think crockpot recipes sound like a great idea!
Posted by: Sarah | September 23, 2008 at 04:57 PM
Great cookbook--I won it the first time, so take me out of the running, but it is a great book!!

Well, that's just fun! Thanks for the giveaway! I enjoy your blog and check in with every new post!

Oooo, ooooo, oooo, pick me, pick me, Mr. Kotter. OOPS! wrong show, wrong decade, wrong century!
anyways, I love your blog (as well as your daughter's...do any of your other children have blogs?) and would love, love, love to add this cookbook to my collection as I love, love, love cookies!
What would I like to see more of? Vegetarian entrees (ovo-lacto) that are quick and easy...of course, easy is relative but if you can make them on your sailboat, my husband can probably make them. Oh, I mean I, (yes, that's it, I) can make them!
Sugary hugs!

Oh, dear.
Now you're luring me back with cookies.
I'm not sure how I feel about that.
I am sure that I enjoy your blog, however. And I'm also interested in anything you can cook up for autumn that's out of the usual mold. What about vegetarian recipes for the crockpot that won't be mush when I get home from work? :) (one thing that has eluded me for years!!!)
Posted by: Lo | September 23, 2008 at 06:10 PM
Your pictures are fabulous and I always appreciate the professional baking tips you share.
Posted by: Sue | September 23, 2008 at 06:33 PM
OHHH!! Pick me, pick me. I love cookie recipies. easy peasy means that my hubby would have cookies more often.
Posted by: Susan Hall | September 23, 2008 at 07:42 PM
I love the idea of crockpot recipes. Everyone loves a meal they don't have to get ready when they get home from work. :)
Posted by: Julie | September 23, 2008 at 07:46 PM
I remember the giveaway!!! but I didn't win - lol!
Seems like everyone would love some crockpots recipes - me too!
Posted by: Melinda W | September 23, 2008 at 08:24 PM
Crockpot recipes are good but I would like some soup and stew. Something to warm the spirit!
Posted by: megan | September 24, 2008 at 12:07 AM
I'm fairly new here so can't really critique. I do like simple foods with few ingredients, things made with pantry staples. And the crock pot suggestion is great. I'm trying to use mine a lot more.
I'd love this book. I thin it will help immensely with the baking for my adopted soldier. Thanks!

Love to hear about your life on the boat. It is really interesting... especially all you find a way to do... baking, gardening, etc.

I'm new to your blog, found you through Blake Bakes. I just say...keep up the awesome work! Love it! :)

Hello!
This is my first time to your site. I found you through your daughter's site, and signed up to be on your team to send cookies to soldiers. Now, I really need to start looking for some YUMMY cookie recipes! LOL!
I cannot wait to take a long look at everything you have posted.
I agree with the others about crock pot recipes. I am always looking for more of them.
Posted by: Kathy | September 24, 2008 at 11:26 AM
I LOVE cookie recipes. So, I would love more of these that are different, but using simple ingredients. Also, more crockpot recipes would be great. Who couldn't use some more of those?

I've been reading your blogg now for a while, found it through your daughter's site. I really enjoy each entry as they are all so different and intertaining. I'd love some great recipes that are low carb, especially for breakfast. I'm already thinking of gift items, along with baking for Christmas and this book would really help. Thanks for the opportunity to win this wonderful book.

I would love to see some low calorie/low fat cookie recipes that are good....can it be done?! I love reading your blog, but I find that I don't make many of the recipes as I am trying to lose the baby weight from having my son almost 7 months ago. I LOVE your blog though!!!

This looks like a lovely cookbook!

I have your blog in my google reader under "Cooking" :-) and of course ready every time you post. I look forward to your recipes and have tried several all successfully. I would like to see easy peasy. I hate being in the kitchen, :-)

I look forward to your postings. You always provide us with such a variety of subjects.

Crock pot recipes would be good. I work full time and by the time I get home, I am tired and that when everyone is asking "What's for dinner?" If I could have something cooking when I get home that would be wonderful OR quick and easy recipes that one could whip up in 30 minutes or so.
Thanks for a chance to win this book! It looks wonderful. Gail S. [email protected]

I really enjoy your blog! The wonderful pictures you take always make my mouth water.
Posted by: Lori A. | September 24, 2008 at 09:40 PM
Yea...another give away! Looks like everyone wants crock pot or vegetarian recipes...I don't use a crock pot much...never had any good recipes that didn't turn out better in a pot in the oven than in a crock pot. I guess it's a convenience thing though...anyway...if you have some great crock recipes I'll be happy to try them out.

When I have time to come check out your blog I enjoy reading about your life on the boat! I live in the midwest, so it's nice to get someone elses perspective! I like the blog just the way it is. My husband is in the Air Guard and has been to Afghanistan and Iraq several times, so I am happy to see that you support the troops too!!

I first came to your blog when your daughter mentioned it on hers. I love the photos, how you adapted to 'boat cooking' and of course all the recipes. Even though I love desserts, I would also like to see stew/soup recipes using fall harvest ingredients. Thanks for asking for our ideas.
