Sophia's Tuscan Grille, Warwick, Rhode Island
Sophia's Tuscan Grille in Warwick, RI was the perfect backdrop for a recently attended Rustic Tuscan Wine Dinner. The grand finale of the evening was paraded out on a huge platter with Chef Christopher Palios (Chef Chris to his adoring customers) tempting all his guests with the most outrageously delicious cannoli!
Because we all succumbed to temptation that night, I want you to feel the burning desire for these cannoli too. We couldn't help ourselves. One, two, three different flavors, and they all went down like sweet honey. I know this is a family blog, but dare I say it? The evening was a total culinary orgasm from start to finish!
More about this incredible evening is coming soon, very soon. I just wanted you to have a taste of what's to come ....Until then, I hope you enjoy these cannolli as much as we did!
Oh my goodness-to quote a lady in the deli in Sleepless in Seatle "I want what SHE had!!" These looks fantastic. What a night that must have been. Looking forward to seeing more about it.

I LOVE!!! cannolli! I used to have an excellent recipe for them. Haven't made them in years. These look fantastic. Never heard of the restaurant, but would love to try it. Next time we're in RI we'll have to go with you.

Cannoli are my best ever favourite dessert!
The ones in your photos look absolutely delicious. We have an Italian bakery in Montreal that makes the best cannoli but not quite as good as the ones I had in Palermo! See what you did Donna? Now I feel like driving all the way to the bakery to buy some!
Great photos!
