My 100th Post!
YAY! This is my 105th post and what better way to celebrate than to give away a brand new cookbook?
Pizza On The Grill
You've all heard me go on and on about Grilled Pizza. Well, here's your chance to have your own copy of the book that started this insane obsession I've had with grilled pizza lately. PIZZA ON THE GRILL by Elizabeth Karmel and Bob Blumer is a must have cookbook! Seriously folks, this book is THE bible of all pizza books. I'm sure most of you have heard of Grilled Pizza by now. Upscale restaurants everywhere are putting them on the menus. If you haven't, you must be living under a rock somewhere or at the very least, in the middle of no where in a van down by the river! (Did any of you get that Chris Farley quote? It was from a Saturday Night Live skit. Tell me someone got it!)
The Taunton Press
Janel, my partner in crime over at The Taunton Press, has graciously given me a second copy to give away to one of my lucky readers. You really didn't think I was going to give away MY own copy did you? Heck no! I have to tell you though, I absolutely LOVE this cookbook! I wouldn't give it away if you paid me and Janel knew that! Thanks for being so generous Janel! (Heads Up! Janel already sent me another book to give away!)

I love margarita pizza the best. Nothing like fresh tomato, basil & mozzarella to make my mouth water. Honestly, pizza is my favorite food group. And yes, I realize it isn't actually a food group in most people's eyes!

My absolute favorite pizza...is quattro stagioni. I first had this in Italy...and i has a boiled egg on one quarter, prociutto crudo (raw) in another; then artichokes in another and finally either olives or mushrooms in the last corner...this is the style in Rome....where I lived for 6 months! While I make pizza in my oven with a stone...I have NEVER grilled one!

My favorite one I have found is a Mediterranean Pizza that I found at a local restaurant in GR, MI. It has a thin crust, almost pita-like, with olive oil, feta, tomatoes, olives and other great toppings that I can't seem to remember right now! Just trust me, it's delicious! Have a great weekend!

I just love pizza but my favorite was a white pizza in LA. It was soooo good. No, I change my mind, it is a three cheese pizza in Denver at a little family place. Plain but the best I have ever had.

Growing up on a limited budget our family's favorite pizza was one with mozzarella cheese, sliced hot dogs and sliced dill pickles. Congrats on your new cookbook!
